A mix of light rain, sleet and freezing rain will begin around dawn Monday, with the best chance of sleet and freezing rain inland and to the north and west of Boston.

There is a winter weather advisory from 4 a.m. through 9 a.m. for some light icy conditions, but after 9 a.m. temperatures will warm above freezing everywhere and for the rest of the day it will be plain rain, with up to an inch or perhaps a bit more, ending in the evening.

There will not be enough rain for widespread flooding, but some localized street flooding is likely.

The early morning could be a bit slick, but nothing major is expected. The heavy precipitation does not occur until it is warm enough for rain.

Otherwise, it is looking fairly quiet the rest of the week.
