Minor League Ballpark Introduces Urinal Video Games To American Sports Fans
BOSTON (CBS) -- The lines to get into men's rooms in sports venues across the country may finally rival those for the ladies' room.
That's because a revolution is upon us ... or, more specifically, below us. Err ... it's in the urinal.
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs announced Tuesday that they will be the first sports venue in the entire world to offer a "Urinal Gaming System" in the restrooms at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pa.
"These games are sure to make a huge splash," IronPigs general manager Kurt Landes joked in the official announcement. "Our fans are always looking for the next big thing and these 'X-Stream games' are another example of our commitment to providing an unparalleled entertainment experience in all aspects of Coca-Cola Park, including our restrooms."
According to the release, completing the game won't be easy, as it takes more than 55 seconds on average. Users can then check their standing on the leaderboards, which will also be displayed on video boards around the ballpark. Seeing a man celebrate like wild when his urinal game high score appears on the center field scoreboard is sure to be an interesting sight to see.
