14-Year-Old Killed In Plymouth Dirt Bike Hit-And-Run
PLYMOUTH (CBS) - A head-on collision between a dirt bike and another dirt bike left a 14-year-old dead on Sunday afternoon.
Police say James Ward, a freshman at Plymouth North High School, was riding his dirt bike in the woods when another rider on a dirt bike hit and killed him around 3 p.m near Darby Station Road.

The father of Ward was riding with him on an ATV. Ward's father witnessed the crash and began performing CPR on his son.
The father told WBZ-TV, he told the rider of the dirt bike to go get help. The man left but never came back.
"A lot of people are saying, 'Rest in peace, James' or 'I miss you,'" said Joe Ford, a classmate who came to see where it happened. "It's extremely sad to lose a family member. I feel so sorry for the family."
Ross Graffam, a resident in the area, says that people ride along the trails there frequently.
"A lot of ATV's, a lot of dirt bikes, at all hours of the day," he said.
Police say they later found the man at an area hospital, but are not releasing any additional information at this time.
There is no word yet on if charges will be filed against the man involved in the crash.
