Minor Bump? Paille Hurt In Bruins' Win Over Panthers
BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston Bruins forward Daniel Paille played just one shift in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Florida Panthers, leaving with an apparent upper-body injury early in the contest.
Paille was hurt after taking a hit into the boards from Florida defenseman Ed Jovanovski just over three minutes into the game. He was able to skate to the Boston bench under his own power, but did not return after making his way to the Boston dressing room.
Head coach Claude Julien doesn't think the injury is major issue.
"The doctor told him he couldn't go back in. I'm told it's not very serious, but those are hard to comment on," Julien told reporters in Florida, according to CSNNE's Joe Haggerty. "He felt pretty good after the game, so you never know. Hopefully it was just a minor bump."
On Boston's fourth line, Paille has nine goals and seven assists and is a plus-nine in 57 games this season.
