Milton Police Break Up 'Make It Nasty' Pool Party
MILTON (CBS) - If they're not worth a million dollars, most of the homes on Mark Lane are very close to it.
It's a quiet, tree-lined street not used to making headlines.
That changed when the people at number 4 decided to throw something called a "Make it Nasty Mansion Pool Party" two weekends ago.
Close to 1,500 people showed up, paying anywhere from $15 to $20 each.
They were instructed to wear their swimwear and invitations told party-goers to expect bottle service and ample alcohol for sale.
The party was held in a massive pool house with an in-ground pool.
Neighbor Louis Cassis was one of the first people to move onto Mark Lane.
He's never seen anything like this.
"I was horrified by it," he said. "It was uncomfortable, but at least the police were here though. I felt good about that. But the police were outnumbered, a hundred to one, I think."
It took Milton Police more than an hour to clear the festivities.
The homeowner, Steve Mathieu, will likely be charged with selling alcohol without a permit.
