Driver Killed, Millis Officer Injured In Crash

MILLIS (CBS) -- A Millis man was killed and a Millis Police officer was seriously injured in a crash Sunday.

Millis Police said they responded to the two-car crash on Main Street.

One of the cars involved was a Millis Police cruiser driven by Officer Craig Thompson. Thompson's left arm was seriously injured in the crash.

The other driver, identified as Gary Kaufman, 61, was taken to Norwood Hospital, where he later died.

The cause of the crash wasn't yet known.
