Mild and Uneventful February Week

We are going to 'heat' things up this Valentine's Day.  Clouds will blanket the sky with a weak shortwave in the vicinity while temperatures climb into the 45-50F range.

The upper level flow will leave room for a chance of a few flurries and sprinkles for Tuesday night and Wednesday (especially during the latter half of the day).  Wednesday's highs will creep into the 50F territory even with the overcast skies.

Thursday will start with some sunshine, but then rain will move in during the evening hours.  This rain event will last through Friday morning. However, there is the chance for a mix/wet snow for higher elevation across Central Mass. as well as areas north and west of 495.  Then, skies will begin to clear out for a lovely Friday evening.  Winds will pick-up once the cold front travels east and colder air starts to work its way into New England. Highs on Thursday and Friday will be flirting with 50F!

Cooler temperatures head our way this weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day!

~Melissa :)
