Mild and Showery

Lots of clouds will be hanging out this morning while a few showers will be sliding across Southern New England.  Then, another round of showers will move through this evening and early tonight as a cold front dances offshore.  Winds will be energetic today as they gust to ~25mph at times from the southwest. It's going to be another mild day in the middle 70s. Rainfall amounts will remain on the light side for the majority of the area ranging between .10-.25" on average.

The cold front will be pushing across southeastern Massachusetts early on Thursday morning which may include lingering clouds along with a few showers.  Skies will be turning mostly sunny along with breezy nortwest winds.  Highs will be dropping back into the upper 60s.

Friday will be partly sunny early followed by showers developing late in the day from the south to the north.  Teh cold front will be rebounding northward as a warm front. That's the culprit for the return of the rain.  Highs will be cooler in the lower to middle 60s along with an onshore wind.

This weekend isn't showing much promise.  An upper level low will be sitting to our west and spinning 'little disturbances' our way.  We will be under the influence of positive vorticity advection.  Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, but Sunday looks even rainier.  Highs will be on the cool side both days as temps hover in the lower to middle 60s.  With the current forecast, I expect Saturday to be the 'pick' day this weekend although it won't be flawless.  With this damp and cool weekend forecast, what will you do to 'brighten' it up?!
