It was an emotional night over at the Garden on Wednesday as the Bruins played host to the Sabres. It was the first big event since the horrible events that took place during the Boston Marathon on Monday.
The game kicked off with the 17,500 fans in attendance joining Garden legend Rene Rancourt in the singing of the National Anthem. Unfortunately the Bruins couldn't hold on to their lead in the third and eventually fell to the Sabres in a shootout.
