Mega Millions Jackpot Jumps To $242 Million
BOSTON (CBS) – The giant Mega Millions jackpot for New Year's Eve has grown again.
It's now $242 million, up $5 million since Wednesday. The cash option is now an estimated $154 million.
It's the second largest jackpot of the year.
There was no winner in Tuesday's $200 million drawing.
Friday's numbers will be drawn at 11:24 p.m.
There has not been a winner in the last 14 drawings.
Mega Millons is played in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
