Medford Man Accused Of Preying On Girl Over Internet
MANSFIELD (CBS) -- A Medford man has been charged with enticing a 12-year-old Mansfield girl to send nude pictures over the internet.
Peter Campobasso, 30, of Medford was arrested Friday by Mansfield and Medford police. He was arraigned Tuesday in Attleboro District Court.
The girl's parents reported Campobasso to police, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors also said Campobasso offered the girl cash and gifts in return for the photos.
Now, police are looking into the possibility that Campobasso befriended many young girls in the area via Facebook and there could be more alleged victims.
Campobasso was ordered held on $10,000 cash bail. He'll be back in court May 12.
