McAdam On Toucher & Rich: Another Great Game For Crawford
Carl Crawford did all he could Tuesday night, going 3-for-4 while stealing three bases and scoring twice, but it wasn't enough for the Red Sox as they fell to the White Sox 7-5.
It was Crawford's second solid performance after making his debut Monday night, and is now 4-for-7 in his two games back.
Comcast SportsNet's Sean McAdam spoke with 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich about the struggles of Jon Lester, Carl Crawford's solid performance and the upcoming MLB trade deadline.

Jon Lester gave up a three run shot to Kevin Youkilis in the fourth-inning after running the count to 3-2. Why when the count was 3-0 did Lester not just pitch around Youk with first base open given the way he's been hitting?
"I think the response was, well it was the fourth-inning and you've got Adam Dunn the left hander on deck who's not exactly a lightweight either with 28 home runs," said McAdam.
Lester is now 5-7 with a 4.80 ERA for the season. Can Lester get back to the form Red Sox fans have grown to expect out of the lefty? Would the Sox consider unloading Lester or Josh Beckett in an effort to get better before the trade deadline?
At least Crawford is off to a red-hot start to hs 2012 campaign. Is Crawford for real?
"Last night was the kind of game that people were looking for all year from Carl Crawford," said McAdam. "If I'm a Red Sox fan I'm feeling pretty good about the way Carl Crawford has gotten out of the gate."
