MBTA Workers Honored For Saving Woman's Life
BOSTON (CBS) - The MBTA is honoring two workers who saved a woman from an oncoming train.

The incident happened about a month ago during the afternoon rush hour commute on the Orange Line.
A woman jumped onto the tracks as a train rounded a corner at the State Street Station stop.
Inspector Jackie Osorio, who has been previously honored by the MBTA for her quick reaction to a similar event she faced three years ago, called to get the train to stop.
Ellen Coulter, the train operator, slammed on the brakes, and the train stopped less than a foot away from the woman.
"You never know in those situations. You know you're taught and they say the train is going to stop but you never know. But it worked," said Coulter. "You're thinking I could've hit that person but I didn't, I'm glad I didn't. But it does affect you."
The person on the tracks was uninjured. According to investigators she admitted to trying to kill herself.
