MBTA Running, Amtrak Not After Tropical Storm Irene
BOSTON (CBS) - It's just another Monday for the MBTA.
Most, if not all of the trains, trolleys and buses will be running on their regular schedule.

Service was shut down after 8 a.m. Sunday, just before Tropical Storm Irene swept through New England.

Authorities say it was a good thing that there were no trains because work crews were able to quickly remove debris from the tracks and restore power to signal systems and overhead wires.
Most of the problems were along the Green Line's Riverside branch.

Amtrak is still clearing the tracks between Boston and Washington, D.C.
Service between Boston and Philadelphia is still suspended and there are no Acela Express trains between Boston and Washington.
