MBTA Police Hope 'Papa Smurf' Shirt Can Help ID Robbery Suspect

DORCHESTER (CBS) – MBTA Transit Police are asking for the public's help identifying a couple of thieves who robbed two women of their purses and cell phones at an MBTA station earlier this week.

The robbery happened at the Savin Hill MBTA Station around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday.

One of the suspects was wearing a gray "Papa Smurf" t-shirt. The other was wearing a black hooded "AERO" sweatshirt.

Officers are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects to contact them.
