MBTA Driver: Passengers 'Just Waving Their Hands To Stop'
BOSTON (CBS) - An Orange Line driver says several MBTA riders deserve credit for saving a man who fell onto the tracks Wednesday.

"As I was pulling into North Station, the passengers were just waving their hands to stop," 29-year-old Patricia Corrado told reporters Thursday.

The 10-year veteran saw they were pointing at a man who had fallen into the pit, and she immediately hit the emergency brakes. As Corrado put it, "the train luckily stopped in time."
It came to a halt about 30 feet from that man as other riders helped pull him to safety.
The victim, who police would only describe as a 34-year-old man, was treated at Massachusetts General Hospital for some cuts and bruises.
Corrado was back at work on Thursday. She admits she was a bit nervous pulling back into North Station the day after that scare.
