MBTA Bus Drivers To Be Fired For Rush Hour Game Of "Chicken" In Chelsea
CHELSEA, Mass. (AP) -- Two MBTA bus drivers will likely be fired over what police call a "game of chicken."
MBTA General Manager Richard Davey says the drivers were suspended for 30 days and they will be discharged following that suspension.
According to Chelsea police, the two drivers, whose names have not been released, took part in a game of chicken during rush hour on Tuesday, with passengers on board. It does not appear that anyone was injured in the alleged incident.
The drivers both face criminal charges for operating to endanger.
