Massive blaze burns Roxbury warehouse; no one hurt
About 160 firefighters knocked down a widespread blaze at a warehouse in an abandoned industrial complex in Roxbury.
Fire department spokesman Steve MacDonald says crews were called to the fire in the city's Roxbury neighborhood just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, and the blaze is extensive enough to require a citywide response. MacDonald says the large brick building was vacant, and there were no injuries. He also says there are no residences nearby.
Investigators are at the scene trying to determine the cause.
