MassBenchmarks Report: Economy Downshifted In 2011
BOSTON (CBS) - The state's economy downshifted at the end of last year according to the MassBenchmarks report from UMass.
The report shows that the state's economy grew at an annual rate of 2.3%. That's lower than the national rate.
At the WBZ Comcast Business Class Luncheon, MassBenchmarks co-editor Michael Goodman said recent federal budget cuts are having an effect here.
