Mass. State Police Catch Two On Most Wanted List
BOSTON (AP) — Two men on the Massachusetts Most Wanted list of probation violators have been captured.
State police say 27-year-old Rubenson Cherilus was caught at a house in Boston's Dorchester section at about 6 a.m. Thursday.
At about 11 a.m., Massachusetts and Rhode Island State Police arrested 56-year-old Michael Washington at a Providence, R.I., home.
Cherilus is being sought by three different courts on a variety of charges including possession of firearms and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession to distribute Class B drugs and indecent exposure.
His arraignment is scheduled for Thursday.
Authorities say Washington violated probation on a variety of charges including home invasion, kidnapping and armed assault. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Rhode Island as a fugitive from justice.
