Mass. Man Arrested In Maine Triple Murder
NEW BEDFORD (AP) — One of two men wanted in connection with the slayings of three people in Maine whose bodies were found in a burning car was due in court Wednesday after his capture in Massachusetts.
Randall "Ricky" Daluz, 34, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by New Bedford police who found him prone on the ground outside a city home, Detective Capt. Steven Vicente said.
Randall "Ricky" Daluz, 34, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning in Penobscot Superior Court in Bangor.
"We had received information from Fall River police that he was in the city and had made arrangements through a friend to give himself up," Vicente said.
Daluz was taken to New Bedford police headquarters where he was questioned by Bangor, Maine, police.
He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in New Bedford District Court on a fugitive from justice charge.
Daluz, whose last known address was Taunton, Mass., has been indicted in Maine on murder and arson charges. Also indicted was Nicholas Sexton, 31, of Warwick, R.I., who remains at large.
Three bodies were found inside a burning car with Rhode Island plates in a Bangor parking lot early on Aug. 13. Maine authorities have said the victims were shot before the car was torched.
The victims were identified as Daniel Thomas Borders, 26, of Hermon; Nicolle Ashley Lugdon, 24, of Eddington; and Lucas Alan Tuscano, 28, of Bradford.
