Mass. Gas Prices Up 6 Cents In A Week
BOSTON (CBS) - Local gasoline prices continue to rise.
AAA of Southern New England reports self serve regular is selling on average for $2.88 a gallon. That's up six cents from last week.
Spokeswoman Mary McGuire says gas in our area is one penny below the national average.
Southern New England customers also have a wide range of prices, which makes it a little easier to shop around.
A year ago at this time, the local average was $2.61 a gallon.
