Marshfield Seawall Breached, Home Damaged By Blizzard Of 2015
MARSHFIELD (CBS) -- The Blizzard of 2015 caused a major seawall breach and damaged a home in Marshfield on Tuesday morning.
Marshfield police said the damage was reported on Bay Avenue. Flooding was also reported at the Brant Rock Esplanade, according to police.
"There is some extreme flooding out there," Lt. Paul Taber, the Marshfield emergency management director told WBZ-TV. "The entire south end of town is cut off."

Just before 5 a.m., authorities said they responded to a man at Brant Rock who needed to be rescued. The man had to be extricated with a front end loader due to the flooding, and was transported to a local hospital.
Taber said that anyone who loses power should call police for a ride to the shelter if they are getting cold, but everyone else should stay put because road conditions are treacherous.
