Marshfield Grandmother Wins $10 Million On Scratch Ticket

MARSHFIELD (CBS) -- A Marshfield grandmother is a millionaire after hitting it big on a scratch ticket.

Ann Marie Reardon won a $10 million prize on the Massachusetts Lottery's "40th Anniversary Millions" game, which sells for $20.

Reardon took the one-time cash payment of $6.5 million after taxes. She has eight grandchildren, and told the Lottery she'll invest, pay bills, and give some of the winnings to her family.

She bought the ticket at Hubbard's Cupboard in Marshfield; the store gets a $50,000 bonus for her win.

There's still a $10 million prize and 10 $1 million prizes remaining in the "40th Anniversary Millions" game, the lottery said.
