Marshall Recounts Trip With RFK To South Africa
BOSTON (CBS) - As a young U.S. Senator in New York, Robert F. Kennedy traveled to South Africa in 1966.
A new film about his visit, entitiled, "RFK IN THE LAND OF APARTHEID: A Ripple of Hope," contains never before seen footage of Kennedy.
It airs on PBS August 22.
Former Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Margaret Marshall is from South Africa.
As a young college student, she accompanied Kennedy and his wife on their trip.
