Manchester, NH Police Seek Suspects In 3 Attempted Child Abductions
MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (CBS) - Police are looking for suspects in three attempted child abductions that happened this week in Manchester, New Hampshire.
All three incidents took place between 3-and-4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
The children targeted were 9-to-14-year-old boys and girls.
The first incident happened between Ashland and Hall streets on Lowell Street.
The suspect asked the victim if he wanted a ride. The vehicle is described as being a green four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota or Nissan, with new tires and shiny rims.
The driver is described as a man in his mid-30s, with a reddish-brown beard, yellow teeth and wearing a black coat.
In the second incident on Eastern Avenue, police say the suspect approached a group of girls, saying "Hey Ladies, what school do you go too?" He then yelled at them to "get in the car" as they ran away.
The suspect is described as a man with a skinny build, brown hair and wearing a baseball hat and glasses.
He was driving a blue SUV with Rhode Island plates with a possible plate
number of 661556.
The third incident happened in the area of Auburn and Lincoln streets. The suspect asked a boy if he wanted a ride.
The driver is described as a man with a skinny build, medium-brown hair, wearing an orange t-shirt and had no glasses, accent or visible tattoos.
