Arrest Made In Keene State Lockdown
KEENE, NH (CBS) – Keene State went into lockdown early Saturday morning when a man with a gun ran onto campus.
Police say they were called after the suspect pulled a handgun inside a home on Winchester Street in Keene.
He took off onto the college's campus around 1 a.m., just before officers arrived.
The suspect was originally described as wearing blue jeans, no shirt, and a Boston Bruins 'Old style goaltenders mask.' He's white with blonde hair.
Keene State College Campus Safety says the campus immediately went into lockdown. A safety alert was sent out via cell phones and email to students.
However, just a few minutes after taking off from the home on Winchester Street, the suspect pulled a gun on a student who was walking with friends on campus, and robbed the student of his sweatshirt.
No one was injured in either incident, and the lock down was lifted around 5:30 a.m.
Police made an arrest in the case late Saturday afternoon.
Justin Robinson, 22, was charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of reckless conduct.
He will appear in court on Monday.
