Man Wanted For Questioning In Bridgewater Burned Remains Probe Caught In California
SALISBURY, Mass. (AP) — A Salisbury man wanted for questioning in connection with the death of a man whose remains were found burning in a barrel in Bridgewater earlier this month has been found in California.
Police say 26-year-old Reginald Cummings was apprehended near the Mexico border on Thursday morning.
He is being held by the San Diego sheriff's office.
Cummings is wanted for questioning in connection with the death of 24-year-old Dennis Ray Jackson of Haverhill.
Jackson's partial remains were found burning in a barrel in Bridgewater on Nov. 13. More burned human remains, also thought to be Jackson's, were found the following day in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood.
Police raided Cummings' Salisbury apartment on Nov. 15, but he was not there.
Cummings is a rapper who has appeared on local stages.
