Man Wanted For Hingham Bank Robbery Turns Self Into Police
HINGHAM (CBS) - The man wanted for the armed robbery at a bank last week in Hingham turned himself into police Saturday night.
James Thomas Callahan, 58, turned himself into police after 10 p.m. Saturday and was ordered held without bail. He's facing charges including armed robbery and larceny.
Police said that last Saturday before 12:30 p.m., Callahan walked into the Hingham Institution for Savings with and showed a black handgun. Surveillance cameras captured the robbery in progress.
Callahan is set to be arraigned Monday in Hingham District Court.
