Man Wanted For Dartmouth Mall Robbery Arrested At New Job
DARTMOUTH (CBS) – A man wanted for robbing the store where he used to work was arrested at his new job.
26-year-old Michael Killory allegedly hid inside the Hollister at the Dartmouth Mall Wednesday night and waited there until closing time.
Police say he then threw on a mask, pulled a gun on some former co-workers and stole the deposit bag full of cash.
But a worker recognized Killory as he took off out a back door.
"One of the employees followed him and was able to see his face because the defendant had removed the ski mask and pointed the gun at the employee, and told him to get back into the store and that's when the employee recognized this person," Dartmouth Police Detective Robert Levinson told WBZ-TV.
Police received a tip Thursday evening that Killory could be found at his new job at the Outback Steakhouse in Randolph.
He was arrested and charged with armed robbery while masked (firearm), four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony.
He will be arraigned Friday in New Bedford District Court.
