Man Suing Hernandez Over Alleged Florida Shooting Is A Convicted Drug Dealer
BOSTON (CBS) - A man suing New England Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez for allegedly shooting him while the two rode in a car together in Miami earlier this year is a convicted drug dealer.
The lawsuit, which was thrown out this week because of a paperwork mistake but has since been refiled alleges that Hernandez and Alexander Bradley left Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami on February 13, 2013 after an argument.

At some point during the ride, according to the suit, Hernandez allegedly aimed a gun at Bradley and the gun went off.
Bradley claims he lost his right eye, needed surgery to reconstruct his face, and suffered damage to his right hand and arm. He's suing Hernandez for more than $100,000.
No charges have been filed yet in criminal court.
According to court records, Bradley had a criminal record at the time of the alleged shooting.
In 2006, Bradley was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison for the sale of hallucinogen/narcotic in Connecticut, which is the state where Hernandez grew up.

His sentence was suspended after serving 18 months. Bradley was put on probation for five years.
Bradley was arrested again in Connecticut in April 2013, two months after the alleged shooting, on charges of burglary, disorderly conduct, assault, and criminal mischief. That case is ongoing.
Hernandez is expected to be arrested in connection with a homicide near his home in North Attleboro. Friday morning, sources told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 that a warrant had been issued for his arrest on a charge of obstruction of justice.
