Man Stops Home Invasion Attempt In Lynn
LYNN (CBS) - A 21-year-old was home when two men tried to break into his apartment on Wednesday.
Julio Ortega said he was watching TV in his home on Commercial Street in Lynn when he heard a couple guys use screwdrivers to break in to the front room of the apartment.
Ortega came into the room and the guys took off, but the young man chased one of the men outside and tackled him.

"So when I grabbed him, I started hitting him, because you know he was trying to escape. So, the guy we was fighting, I grabbed his neck, and I was telling him, 'You're going to jail," said Ortega.
The captured man, a Lynn resident, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering after he was treated for lacerations to his head and back.
