Man Stabbed With Sword In Lowell
LOWELL (CBS) – A 26-year-old man is facing charges over a stabbing involving a sword.
Police said EMTs arrived at a home on Beech Street on Saturday morning and found a man with a sword protruding from his body.
The stabbing victim was flown to a Boston hospital. His injuries were not considered life threatening.
The suspect, Steven M. Langner, who lived in the home, had taken off before public safety officials arrived at the home, according to investigators. He returned about four hours later and was placed under arrest.
Police also recovered several guns from the home.
Langner faces charges of armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery and improper storage of a firearm.
