Seth Bouldry was visiting his fiancee at her father's apartment when he heard a pop.
"I was just sitting, watching TV, and I just heard a loud pop. I didn't know what was going on," Bouldry told WBZ-TV. "I didn't feel anything - I just got up and I started walking. I put my hand on my head, and I felt blood."
Bouldry and his fiancee called 911, and he was rushed to the hospital where he was given four stitches.
Police told him that the bullet appeared to come from a .357 caliber gun and that it must have been slowed down going through the floor and ceiling above.
"It just bounced right off my head," Bouldry said. "I'm the luckiest person to be alive right now."
Brockton police are still investigating who may be responsible for firing the bullet.
