22-Year-Old Man Arrested In Chelsea Murder
CHELSEA, Mass. (AP) — Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting in Chelsea.
The Suffolk district attorney's office announced that 22-year-old Jonathan Castro Sala is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on a murder charge in Chelsea District Court.
Police say Sala was arrested early Wednesday in connection to a shooting at about 9 p.m. Tuesday on Blossom Street based on witness interviews and physical evidence recovered at the scene.
The victim was taken to Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett where he died of his injuries.
The victim's name was not made public.
Police are still investigating the shooting and are urging anyone with information to call them.
