Man Robs Ashburnham Pharmacy At Gunpoint
ASHBURNHAM (CBS) --- A man pointed a gun at an employee of Ashburnham Family Pharmacy and demanded cash and prescription drugs.
It happened around 4 p.m. Saturday.
Detective Robert Siano of the Ashburnham police told WBZ-TV's Paul Burton the man had a semi-automatic handgun and ordered the clerk and a customer to get on the floor.
Police say that as the suspect was robbing the pharmacy another customer walked into the store. When she saw what was going on, she quickly ran out and called police and was able to give a description of the get away car.
Siano said the man got away with cash and a substantial quantity of narcotics.
The suspect is described as possibly white, wearing a black long sleeve t-shirt with front white lettering "skull toboggan," back lettering "suffering servant" with white flames on the sleeves, blue jeans, black Nike sneakers with a white swoosh and grey baseball cap with "Batman" logo. The man is around 5ft9in 200-220lbs, stocky build with brown-bearded facial hair approximate age is 20-30's. Tattoo or the capital letters "L (index)O (middle)V (ring)E (small)" were seen across the left hand fingers.
"We believe that he's probably very dangerous, desperate," Siano said. "These individuals that rob pharmacies and these types of stories looking for the narcotics could be unpredictable."
The suspect may have been driven to the scene by a woman in a four-door red sedan described as having different front and rear style wheels and a partial Mass license plate 94_ _02. The front wheels were described as silver 5-spoke style. The rear wheels were described as multi-spoke black or dark gray in color.

Ryan Sorilla, who works next door at Village Pizza, said this is not the first time there's been a robbery in the area.
"Both buildings on either side of us have been robbed now, so it's pretty crazy to think of," he said.
