Young Man Killed, Elderly Woman Wounded In Dorchester Barber Shop Shooting
DORCHESTER (CBS) - A young man was killed and an elderly woman was wounded in a shooting at a barber shop in Dorchester Thursday evening.
Police say a man walked into the Universal Barber Shop and Beauty Salon on Geneva Avenue around 7 p.m. and shot a man in the head as he was getting a haircut.
A woman in her 70's who happened to be in the shop was shot in the arm, but she is expected to recover.
The gunman got away.
Police have not released the victim's name. They said he was in his 20's and was the intended target.
There's no word yet on a motive.
