Man Hospitalized After Dorchester Shooting
BOSTON (CBS) – A man was hospitalized Thursday morning after he was shot in Dorchester.
The shooting happened around 6 a.m. on Magnolia Street.
EMS said the victim as transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police were on scene collecting evidence.
Thomas Lestrade said he didn't know there had been a shooting until he saw the crimes scene. Police said the victim ran onto Lestrade's porch.
"I don't know where they got shot. I don't know anything about shots. I know there's a lot of blood on the porch, that's all," he said.
Lestrade described the neighborhood as usually peaceful.
