Man Charged With Robbing NH Subway Restaurant At Gunpoint
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a Subway restaurant at gunpoint in Manchester, N.H.
Police arrested 40-year-old Timothy Potter overnight early Friday in Manchester.
Police said the robber ordered a sandwich Tuesday night and then showed a gun and made statements that led the clerk to believe he was robbing the store. She fled to a rear work area and tried to call for help, but police say the man followed and assaulted her and took her cell phone.
Police said the man removed cash from the register and then pointed his gun at the customers, ordering them to the floor and demanding their wallets.
