Man Charged With Assaulting Woman At Knifepoint During Bourne Home Invasion
BOURNE (CBS) – A Bourne man was arrested Tuesday morning after an armed home invasion.
Bourne police said that just after 7 a.m. officers were called to Keenan Road where a woman said she had been assaulted at knifepoint inside her house.
Morgan Andrews, 19, who police said ran from the home, was located a short distance away from the home.
Police arrested Andrews and charged him with assault with intent to murder, home invasion, assault and battery, and strangulation.
The man did not live at the home and was not related to the victim, though police said they later learned the victim knew the suspect.
Additional charges could still be added, police said.
Andrews is scheduled to be arraigned in Falmouth District Court.
