BROCKTON, Mass. (CBS/AP) — A Brockton man has been charged in connection with a fatal hammer attack on a 74-year-old Pentecostal minister.

Thirty-five-year-old Carlos Ramon Velazquez was in court Thursday on charges including murder in the Aug. 20 beating death of Lee Harmon.
A judge ordered Velazquez held without bail.
The Plymouth district attorney's office did not say what led police to Velazquez and did not disclose a motive.
Prosecutors say Velazquez went to Boston Medical Center after the attack will alleged injuries.
Velazquez has a minor criminal history, according to prosecutors.
The judge ordered the court records in the case sealed until his next court date on October 3.
Witnesses told investigators they heard a commotion, then breaking glass and a verbal confrontation, before Harmon was found on the ground with severe head wounds.
Harmon, associate pastor of the Church of God in Christ in Roxbury, was riding his bike to see his daughter when he was killed.
He was a father of six and was married to his wife Francis for 55 years. His wife and one of his daughters was overcome by emotion as they sat in the courtroom during the arraignment.
