Man Arrested For Breaking Into NH Home Without Clothes On

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) - A man was arrested early Saturday morning after he allegedly broke into a home on Chestnut Street in Manchester, New Hampshire without any clothes on.

Police said 31-year-old Joshua O'Shea was drunk when he entered the home on Chestnut Street. He then stood naked over Lindsay Bolton, who lived at the home.

"When I opened my eyes, he wasn't dressed anymore. He had a t-shirt on, but no pants," said Bolton.

Bolton said she had never seen O'Shea before, but he told her his name was Josh and started to lay on the couch with her.

"He came on really strong, sat on the couch and tried to come at me. It was so weird," said Bolton.

Bolton called for her boyfriend Derek, who came rushing out of the bedroom and grabbed a bat.

O'Shea managed to get the bat and later threw a wrench at the couple. They went outside to get away.

"When we came back inside, he was getting dressed, and he wasn't putting on his own clothes, he was putting on our belongings," said Bolton.

O'Shea also threatened a downstairs neighbor before stumbling away, drunk.

It didn't take police too long to catch up with O'Shea. They got a tip call that a man was drunk and bleeding, and hanging out behind a nearby restaurant.

Bolton thinks O'Shea was drunk and confused and probably didn't really mean to hurt her or her family.

"I didn't know what to think. The thoughts that are running through your mind at that point are crazy," said Bolton.

O'Shea appeared before a judge on Monday to face charges including criminal threatening and burglary.

He is being held on $25,000 bail.
