Man Arrested For Breaking Into Boston Police Station
BOSTON (CBS) – A Somerville man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a downtown Boston Police station.
At about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers say they witnessed 24-year-old Michael Naughton "violently pull" on a locked door to the District A-1 garage and enter the secured area.
When officers approached Naughton, they say he became belligerent and yelled at the officers to get out of his house.
Police say they informed him that he was in a police station, but Naughton allegedly continued to yell out his address and became argumentative.
Officers were able to handcuff him after a struggle and were forced to carry him to the booking area.
Naughton was placed under arrest and charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime and resisting arrest.
