Man Arrested After Possible Stun Gun Robbery On Beacon Hill
BOSTON (CBS) - A Boston man is under arrest following an armed robbery on Beacon Hill that may have involved a stun gun.
Police say just after midnight Friday, a man was walking on Revere Street when someone came up and grabbed from behind.
During an ensuing struggle, the victim says the suspect, later identified as Yohan Almonte, 24, was swinging an object at him that had a blue light on the end of it and appeared to be a stun gun.
The victim managed to escape without being hurt.
He gave police a description of his attacker.
Officers spotted Almonte, who fit that description, nearby a short time later. Almonte took off running but police quickly captured him.
He is charged him with Armed Robbery.
It's unclear whether any weapon was recovered.
