Lt. Gov. Rescues Children From Car Fire
WORCESTER (CBS) -- Lt. Gov. Tim Murray helped rescue two children from a car fire in Worcester Tuesday night.
A spokesperson for the governor's office says that Murray was driving in the Webster Square area when he saw a minivan with a tire on fire.
He stopped, called 911, and someone nearby yelled that there were children in the vehicle. He was able to help the children out of the minivan and get them to their grandmother who was nearby.
A Worcester fire captain says when they arrived at the fire everyone was out of the minivan.
No one was injured.
