Fisherman Hooks Snapping Turtle On Concord River In Lowell
LOWELL (CBS) -- A fisherman in Lowell came up with an unexpected catch over the weekend.
Todd Cresta said he was carp fishing on the Concord River Friday night when a huge snapping turtle stole his bait.
He said he lured the turtle closer with some oatmeal, then captured it--snapping the above photo posing with the turtle in order to prove his story.
Cresta said he then returned it to the water.
