Lowell Rallies To Help Teen Replace Stolen $1,200 Wheelchair
BOSTON (CBS) - A Lowell teenager who had her wheelchair stolen last month, now has a reason to smile. Her community has come to her aid.

Seventeen-year-old Micala Webster was diagnosed with cancer about ten years ago. The treatments left her with a number of physical challenges and she needs a wheelchair to get around.
But someone broke into her mother's mini-van on August 21 and stole her $1,200 wheelchair.
"The community response has been unbelievable," Micala's mom, Cindi, told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Friday at Children's Hospital Boston, where Micala had one of her regular monthly appointments.
"A lot of people that I knew were really shocked and wanted to do whatever they could," Micala said.
Former Lowell city councilor Bud Caulfield told the Lowell Sun he's organizing a charity drive to replace Micala's expensive wheelchair.
So what kind does she want?
"I just want like a really good one, a purple one, so I can put stickers and stuff on it," she told WBZ.
