Lowell Man Allegedly Kidnaps Daughter
LOWELL (CBS) - A Lowell man faces child endangerment and custodial kidnapping charges after allegedly forcing his way into a daycare center on Manchester Street and leaving with his 14 month old daughter.
Nehemie Auguste, 21, did not have custody of his daughter, and he allegedly ignored pleas from the daycare providers not to take her. He fled with the girl in his car and was caught an hour later at a Chuck-E-Cheese on Plain Street in Lowell. The girl was unharmed. She's been returned to her mother, 21 year old, Amanda Cardoso, of Lowell.
