Lowell Librarians May Have Chatted Online At Work About Killing A Colleague
LOWELL (CBS) - Lowell's city solicitor is looking into whether public librarians used city equipment to ridicule someone and discuss killing that person.
Beth Brassel and Molly Hancock could be in a lot of trouble, but the librarians aren't accused of having an overdue book.
A report in the Lowell Sun says the two used city computers to instant message each other back in April to complain about a colleague. Transcripts of the chat conversation have been given to the city solicitor's office.
Reportedly, the two complained about how a colleague would not stop talking and the two women even chatted about killing the other woman.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Mark Katic reports.
