Lowell Bridal Shop Gives Away Wedding Gowns To Military Couples
LOWELL (CBS) - A Lowell Bridal shop is giving away dozens of wedding gowns for free.
Instead of just throwing them away, Chantilly Place in downtown Lowell is hoping to clear more room by giving away over 70 discounted wedding gowns. Shop owner Colleen Ferry says the designer sample gowns range in size and color.
She says the gowns are for military couples who are planning for their special day. Teajin Sung got one of the free dresses.

Sung says, "The one I found was ivory color, trumpet style with the train on it."
"I helped her pick it out," says her fiance James Bartlett, an Air Force veteran. "I think she looks beautiful in it."
Her dress normally costs a few thousand dollars, but they're taking it home for free. The couple plans to get married this summer.
